Wyatt is the kind of designer who made it to the director level without losing the thing that got him there in the first place — the genuine love of making things. He's led teams, shaped brands, navigated acquisitions, and helped take a company public, but ask him what he does and he'll probably just say he's a designer. He's been at it since he was 9, and it shows.
My design journey started at 9 years old, sitting in on my father's client meetings. He was an industrial designer who handed me Adobe Illustrator while other kids were playing video games. I've been designing ever since.
In college, I double-majored in Fine Art and Technology, Arts & Media at CU Boulder. After graduating, I joined Brighter Vision, a Denver-based startup, and grew with it; eventually leading the Design Department and helping steer the company through its acquisition by EverCommerce's EverConnect subsidiary.
At EverConnect, my scope expanded well beyond design. I played a central role in consolidating seven distinct brands into two focused businesses: Brighter Vision as the SaaS product and Socius Marketing as the Agency Services arm. During that same period, I was part of the leadership driving EverCommerce's transition from a privately held company to a publicly traded one on the NASDAQ.
Most recently, I was instrumental in the strategic sale of the EverConnect division to Ignite Visibility, a move that made Ignite Visibility the largest privately held marketing agency in the country.
I'm a designer who can lead creative at the brand level and still get my hands dirty when the work calls for it. I'm at my best in high-growth environments where design has a real seat at the table.
I'm almost always working on something outside of work too. Creativity isn't a job function for me, it's just how I'm wired. Some of my favorite pieces have started as nothing more than a loose idea and a pencil, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
My dog is a constant companion and one of my favorite parts of daily life. Whether we're out on a long walk, exploring somewhere new, or just hanging around the house, she keeps me grounded, even if she's never once acted like she needs me around. I'm convinced she loves me. She remains unconvinced.
I've been riding dirt bikes since I was 3 years old, and it's one of those parts of my life that has never gotten old. There's something about being out on a trail, away from screens and deadlines, that resets everything. Any free weekend I can carve out, that's where I'd rather be.
